"The Angel of Darkness Awaits" Poem

Close the blinds

Blow out the flame

for the angel of darkness

awaits it's claim

When evil has reached

a critical mass

even the innocent

turn to ash

Close the blinds

Clear out the smoke

the slightest flicker

may provoke

Hide one's face

so he cannot see

allowing the innocent to flee

Noah's ark

may not save all

even good souls

sometimes fall

Pray to God

Repent thy sins

for righteousness

will always win

Study spirit

Do good on earth

receive to share

await rebirth

For the angel of darkness

stakes no claim

on those who follow

the righteous way

So have no fear

let your light shine

but when the angel appears

close your blinds

Turn out the lights

and hide one's face

for the angel of darkness

now awaits

*Explanation: After writing my last article about meeting my guardian angel in a reiki guided meditation 6 years ago, my guardian angel reappeared to me in a dream. In this dream my guardian angel urgently woke me up to warn me about some impending danger. She instructed me to close the blinds and not to burn anything. It seemed as though something evil and dangerous was searching for me or trying to watch me and I was being instructed to hide. But what could I possibly have to hide from? I felt troubled during this dream and I was also troubled when I woke up. I spent a lot of time trying to analyze what this dream meant. Finally, as I was reading Chapter 14 'The Generation of the Flood' from the book "The Essential Zohar: The Source of kabbalistic Wisdom" by Rav P.S. Berg, I had some type of clue as to what my dream may have meant. Chapter 14 speaks of Noah's ark during the time of the flood.

Supposedly, when evil has reached a critical mass on this planet, the angel of darkness will ask God for permission to cleanse the earth of all the evil doers. If God agrees, then even innocent people may be swept up and consumed by this great cleanse. However, in this chapter it states that the angel of darkness cannot stake his claim on those who hide their face from him. He also cannot stake his claim on those who study the Torah or live righteously, receiving to share as opposed to a selfish person who receives for self alone. After comparing my dream with this chapter I was convinced that the warning I received was not just for myself, but a warning to be shared... and what better way to share it then with a poem on my blog!

Yes, this poem may seem a bit dark, but it is a reminder that even good people can get caught up and possibly even harmed in negative events. In fact, this happens all the time. If an innocent person ends up at the wrong place at the wrong time it could be detrimental for them. We are in the shadow phase of our first Mercury Retrograde of 2020 and I believe it is important for us to keep our eyes open and stay aware of any impending danger! Stay away from negative people, stay away from negative situations... But most importantly... Stay away from negative thoughts for our thoughts do indeed create our reality! Til next time...
