Invoking Compassion and Forgiveness for Devils!



As my good friend and spiritual mentor says, "You can't be mad at devils because that is simply their nature!" In my last article, "Fakery Cafe"- Another Lying Food Vendor Gets Added to My Black List!" , I share my personal email correspondence with a neighborhood cafe that got caught lying to me. I ended up writing them a very bad (yet well deserved) review on yelp. But I was angry! Very angry at the situation and especially at the final email that the owner of the cafe had the nerve to send to me- an email that is way too repulsive to share online. I wouldn't want to make anyone sick from the bad energy. This cafe owner even had the nerve to say "Please do not email us again. You will not get a reply."


But then something strange happened! My anger dissipated and all of a sudden I was filled with compassion, forgiveness and even pity for this cafe owner. I decided to send some reiki distance healing to the entire situation so that it would work out for the greater good. I said some prayers and placed everything in the hands of the spirit. And that's when I wrote this final "tough love" letter to the cafe owner... (A letter that my own mother told me not to send because she said it was so nasty). I don't feel that I am being nasty... just brutally honest. I ended up sending this message to the owner's instagram account and posting it as two comments under my initial review on their facebook page. I doubt she read it but I do feel much better now. I've said my peace.


Dear Barbara (owner of Fakery Cafe),


You asked me not to respond to your last email. You said you wouldn't read it. Well, whether or not you read this message doesn't matter because the energy will be felt. That's all that really matters. I took it personal at first that you and your staff lied to me several times about your food, and then that you went on a personal attack and told several lies about me in the email message you sent me. But then I realized that you and your employees probably do this with many or perhaps even all of your customers. You must tell lies when it seems convenient for you or when you do not understand the question being asked and do not wish to appear ignorant. I cannot be the exception. I'm sure you couldn't have just singled me out! And now, after reading quite a few of your reviews, I am aware that you are known for treating your customers and staff poorly.

I was very angry at first after reading your email response to me. I was hoping you could explain to me why you lied about your eggs being pasture raised organic on Saturday February 5th. Perhaps you were tired and didn't know what you were saying? Or perhaps you were just trying to get me out of your store since it was close to closing time? You were willing to say anything to just hurry things up and get home? Or perhaps the eggs really were pasture raised organic and you would verify that what you said to me was true? Although I now know that you lied to me and that the eggs are not pasture raised organic. Or perhaps you could've just apologized for lying to me? Any of those responses would have been professional and somewhat acceptable I suppose. However, instead you became quite defensive and proceeded on an outrageous rant of condemnation. And then you finally tell me that the eggs you sell are not pasture raised organic and that you never even heard of such a term until I mentioned it on Saturday!

So after much thought I realize now that only a severely miserable and tortured soul could have written such a nasty hateful letter of untruths to protect themselves from the lie that they told. But great job! You are an excellent hate writer! Your negative hateful emotion really translates well. I almost vomited on myself reading your horrendous response letter. What a great business owner you are! Are you proud of yourself? You shouldn't be! It appears that you must've had quite a bit of practice with many other disgruntled customers! Your negative reviews surely prove this fact!

But instead of allowing your hate to consume and anger me, which it did at first, now I am somehow flooded with compassion, pity and forgiveness. I feel truly blessed that I do not have to suffer as you apparently do. Living in fear of lies you've told and having to continuously cover up for your lies and misbehavior by projecting the blame on other people. That is a terrible way to have to live.

I'd like to get a few things straight. I'm not sure how asking questions about your food and expecting or hoping to receive honest answers could be considered harassment and bullying but if you actually believe that then so be it! Perhaps my energy was a bit aggressive or abrasive? But that's simply because you and your employees have carelessly lied to me on so many occasions. You accused me of not complying with the mask mandates. That is a lie. You and your employee asked me to place the mask back over my nose and I did so immediately. Had I not complied I'm sure you would've kicked me out and not proceeded to cook my eggs. You say that I demanded that you cook my eggs in avocado oil. This was not a demand, although in your mind you may have felt that way. I was simply requesting a possible substitute for the toxic canola oil that your employee told me was the only oil that you use in your bakery. You accused me of screaming about the toxic canola oil throughout the bakery. I'm from New York. I have a loud voice and it carries but I definitely wasn't screaming. I was just stating the facts. Canola oil is carcinogenic and cancer causing if you didn't already know. Look it up!


You condemned me for rudely taking notes while I was asking questions. I was actually writing down the name of the egg farm that your employee told me was where you get your eggs from. Upon further investigation I discovered that this egg farm doesn't even exist. It was a lie! You complained about me standing outside your store for an hour talking to another customer while my eggs were getting cold. Why should you even care how I spend my time or how cold my eggs get? That should not be any of your concern! However, I'd like to tell you that the lady I was talking to outside your store was actually thanking me for asking you about what type of oil you use to cook the eggs in. She too has experienced food sensitivities eating at your establishment! And speaking of harassment and bullying, I highly doubt that this elderly woman would have even approached me to have a conversation had I seemed the least bit threatening, harassing or bullying or if I appeared to be aggressively violating the mask mandates. In fact, this lady was a witness to the whole event and knows the truth about everything that happened that day. I can call upon her to corroborate my side of the story if a witness is ever needed to testify on my behalf.

You mentioned that I threatened to write a bad review on yelp and report you to the Better Business Bureau. That was not a threat! That was a promise! Although you did get lucky, the BBB rejected my complaint. They don't handle food establishments. You threatened me saying that you would take action if I wrote anything libelous or defamous about your Bakery Cafe. I do not live in fear of idle threats from deceitful liars. I wrote an honest and well deserved bad review on yelp which will not be removed. Interestingly, according to many of your yelp reviews, you are said to be harassing and bullying your employees and customers. Hmmm... Maybe I picked up some of your bad energy when I walked into the cafe? I definitely felt it! Hit me like a brick wall. My mood was actually really good that day until I stepped inside your cafe.

I truly feel sorry for you and all of your employees. You are a deeply troubled individual and I hope you can escape the hell you've created for yourself and find peace in this lifetime. It's never too late to change! You told me that I will never be welcomed at your cafe again. Thank you! Good riddens! You couldn't pay me enough to immerse myself in such a negative hateful vibration ever again.

However, before I leave you forever I would like to make some suggestions. You should stop lying to your customers. It is unprofessional and bad for business. You should be more transparent and open to discuss the vendors you use with your customers. There should be no secrets regarding where our food is coming from! You should also try to be nice, courteous and respectful to your customers, employees and yourself. It will make for a happier and more peaceful and productive work environment and life. Maybe try praying and meditating some time? Practice forgiveness. Forgive all those who have hurt you. You appear to be holding on to anger and sadness that needs to be released in a positive way. Not on your employees and customers!

Eat healthier and get some rest! You do have a sick and tired appearance. No offense! It's just an honest observation. Perhaps you are ingesting too much of your own canola oil? I also recommend burning sage daily and placing some selenite crystals around your shop to clear the bad energy away! And black tourmaline which will need to be cleansed often. And sage yourself too! You sure do need it! You can also spray some salt sole with essential oils like lavender around the place. I do reiki energy healing so I am very knowledgeable in this area.

I'm sure it's difficult to receive constructive criticism from a stranger who has written you a bad review. However, I get the feeling it's just difficult for you to receive criticism period. That seems quite apparent by the way you reacted to my complaints. And you must receive so much negative energy and criticism from strangers already as I can see from many of your yelp reviews. It can't be easy being you. But I'm trying to help. At some point your going to have to face the fact that you are not living a righteous life or running a good business.

It is my hope that with this message positive transformation may take place in your life and in the lives of all those who surround you. Our neighborhood surely deserves better! I hope you have learned your lessons. I have definitely learned mine and I thank you for that. These types of situations only make me stronger and help me deal better with adversity.

They say no two paths cross in this life without meaning. There is a purpose for everything. We can all learn and grow and hopefully become better beings from our experiences whether they are positive or negative. I am sending you loving healing energy. I hope you will be receptive enough to receive it. I forgive you, I'm sorry, I thank you and your welcome. I await an authentic apology although it appears that your ego may not permit this. But your conscience would feel much better if you just apologized for all your incorrect actions and then made an attempt to change your evil ways. I hope you learn your lessons this time around.
